With little time before the fight they already look prepared!
No more trash talk or intimidation – Holly Holm (boxing record 33-2-3, MMA record 9-0) is in no way like Bethe Correia and treats her next opponent, the world UFC bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey (12-0), with maximum respect and minimum fear. Their bout was shifted from January to November due to Robbie Lawler’s thumb injury which withdrew him from the event’s original main event against Carlos Condit. With not much time to get ready for the battle Rousey and Holm met at the “Go Big” press-conference (don’t hesitate to watch Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo clash at the presser!) in Vegas on Friday and later faced each other during a staredown which you can see in this video.
UFC 193 will take place on November 14 at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. The card is packed with great matchups such as the co-main event where Joanna Jedrzejczyk (10-0) will defend her strawweight belt against Valerie Letourneau (8-3) and a heavyweight rematch between Mark Hunt (10-10-1) and Antonio Silva (19-7-1). It’s yet unknown who’ll replace Rousey and Holm for the main event at UFC 195.
