It’s going to be ‘wade and trade vs. the flim flam’!

Glam rock always had to do more with alcohol and drugs than with sports and training but Robin Black is the guy who managed to bring his passion for music and love for MMA together. The frontman of the Canadian glam rock band “Robin Black” is also a dedicated taekwondo artist with a decent MMA record of four wins and five losses. Black’s last fight took place three years ago and today Robin Black provides analyses for upcoming fights at “The Fight Network” in his native Canada.

Black’s manner made fans love him. Fortunately the UFC noticed it and recently posted Black’s breakdown on the most anticipated fight of the year – the UFC 194 main event bout with Jose Aldo defending his featherweight title against Conor McGregor.

Black thoroughly points out each fighter’s strengths and weaknesses. For example, he pays attention to Jose Aldo’s vicious low kicks which can hurt McGregor’s inner thigh due to the Irishman’s southpaw stance. On the other hand, Black pays tribute to McGregor’s ‘deadly straight left’ that can finish any fighter, any time. The breakdown is fun to watch and to listen to, so if you don’t yet feel excited about the UFC 194 headliner, this video can help.

Why actually should we listen to Robin Black? Here’s the answer – he was the guy who made a great breakdown on Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm at UFC 193. While the others were guessing whether Holm would make it to the second round, he pointed out that ‘The Preacher’s Daughter’ would use her boxing to keep the distance, and her kicks were devastating enough to add five knockout wins to her impressive record. Should Dana White have listened to Robin Black a little earlier, he would not have been so shocked on that November night.
